About us: Paul Klein Owner/Jewelry designer attended the University of Maryland and received a business degree and studied the design and manufacturing of jewelry. Paul's strong passion for jewelry making,artwork and unique items have taken him to over 35 different countries where he has experienced and studied different cultures. Paul opened an international art gallery in Greenwich Village in the late 80's and expanded to a second location on the Upper West Side. After moving to City Island in 1993 he opened his 3rd store in the heart of City Island. He expanded his idea of a new age gallery to include toys for the growing youth population of City Island.When that business closed in early 2010, Paul got together with some other artists and brainstormed about a new co-operative gallery concept. He liked the name Kaleidoscope because the store is a mixture of different artists and objects that is all combined into one space.
In Kaleidoscope Gallery there are gifts of all price ranges in this museum-like gallery of cultural crafts, art objects and jewelry. Visual excitement abounds as the colors of all the artwork leads the eye around the space, from corner to corner, and floor to ceiling. Many customers experience Kaleidoscope Gallery as an interactive museum, where they can touch, play with, and purchase wonderful items from local and foreign cultures.
Susan Garofolo is an experienced engraver, Susan is best known for her savvy New York style and her engraveable keepsakes i.e. keychains, moneyclips, pen sets, business and credit card cases, flasks, compact mirrors and much much more. She has been working in the jewelry business for 30 years.
